Anglophone Africa Center

University of Witwatersrand Johannesburg (WITS), South Africa. In Partnership with the Kenya School of Government (KSG), and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Ghana

Anglophone AFR Center
The Center is providing technical assistance for the Department of Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) at the South African Presidency in four key processes. First, they are contributing to the evaluation policy framework for the country. Secondly, they are organizing a research and learning workshop -in partnership with GTZ- related to diagnostics on country M&E systems in seven African countries. Thirdly, a training process to develop “champions” will be conducted, focusing on the basics of results-based management, institutional readiness assessments for M&E, and on managing evaluations. Finally, CLEAR is assisting in the development of a high-level three year plan for DPME, including the development of an overall results framework and indicators for the evaluation program.
