We are accepting event proposals until April 20, 2019.
The CLEAR Initiative, together with global and regional partners, is organizing the inaugural gLOCAL Evaluation Week, June 3 to 7, 2019. This new global initiative aims to contribute to M&E awareness-raising and knowledge-sharing efforts within and across local, regional, and global levels.
The inspiration for gLOCAL Evaluation Week comes from the acknowledgement of two forces that are shaping today’s evaluation landscape, where global knowledge shapes local evaluation practices and local experiences influence global evaluation thinking.
Host an Event
Public, private, and academic institutions, organizations, associations, firms, and other entities that produce, use, or promote evaluations to strengthen development programs are invited to submit a proposal.
Events can focus on evaluation methods, evaluation communication and use, evaluation capacity development, glocal evaluation, or another topic relevant to monitoring and evaluation practices, capacities, and results.
A wide variety of events are welcome, including presentations, panel discussions, roundtable discussions, skill-building workshops, and more. For example, an event could involve bringing people together in an agency or evaluation for a workshop on complexity evaluation, hosting a panel discussion on youth evaluation, or virtually convening global evaluators and communication professionals to co-create a communications toolkit for evaluation.
