CONEVAL Awards Latin America CLEAR for its Work in M&E Capacity Building
The Mexico National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy (CONEVAL) recognized the CLEAR Center for Latin America (Spanish-speaking) with a special award for its work in capacity-building in evaluation and monitoring (M&E). During CONEVAL’s 10 year anniversary celebration, Dr. Gonzalo Hernández Licona, CONEVAL Executive Secretary awarded prestigious institutions in the region “that have made substantial contributions to strengthening capacity for M&E at national and subnational levels.” Other award recipients include ECLAC (the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean) and the National Institute of Statistics (INEGI). CLEAR Center Director, Professor Claudia Maldonado, remarked, “This is an important and very renowned award, and we were honored to receive it.
